Southern Fried Chicken - SFC

Now the chicken is a wonderful bird
They feed on worms and seeds
We devour them by the herd
I'm glad that they can breed
They cluck and peck and cluck all day
And hopefully lay eggs
And even if no eggs get laid
I still like to eat their legs
I like my chicken southern fried
With okra and cornbread
Don't care if it's dark meat or white
As long as I get fed
Chickens with all them feathers
They cluck and strut with pride
I would not eat a raw one
Don't know anyone who has tried
Now the chicken has a couple of wings
Bet you ain't never seen one fly
They only peck and strut and cluck
And that makes for tasty thighs

You can even make good chicken soup
Don't eat the beak, it's pretty hard
